Default Headlight door

Hey Guys,
Just got the headlights on my78 vette to start poping up, BUT, The left door binds on the body just enough to rip of the paint and stop. Will go up with a little help.

I can't for the life of me find an ajustment to slide the entire light assy. forward a fraction of an inch.
Any Ideas?

Default RE: Headlight door

I had an issue with mine and the only "adjustment" I could find was the main mounting bolts that hold the assy to the underside of the body. I got just a tiny bit of movement which was enuf.

I'm pretty sure thats it. There are 4 bolts that hold it in place. You can loosen the bolts up, center it and than tighten it up. That should do it.

Default Take the springs off first!

There are 3 bolts on top of the actuator links bracket, that should be the adjustment you need. PG.
