Default HELP HELP HELP
NEED HELP I cant get the fan shroud out from behind upper a frame bolts. Needs to be remove replace rad. HELPPPPPPPPP[:@][>:]

i don't know much about your problem, but for the future a book like rebuilding the small block chevy are great they have alot of info

Hey 74, if it's like my 78 you have to pull the radiator up past the shroud and get it out of way before the shroud can come out, I had my boy help to reduce the chance of damage.

I pulled the rad, and then the shroud came out pretty easy. Pulled the fan and pully too.
