Default RE: I need advice (newbie alert)

well first i do some research on the car, whats been done / replaced, i also young and dumb at 22bought " my dream car" thought i was gonna jump in it an drive it everywere and everyday.....not the case and this car was in great shape (74) dont get me wrong i love my car and yes there is a bond between man an machine....unless you have the resources and some moeny the car will sit, just take a look at the price of some parts.....if i had to do it over again id buy it 100 times over...i love it, but i have the resource/ tools to do what i want with it, it complety apart now and doing a resto on it.....23 yrs old and restoring a vette. what im sayin is do ur homework, i can bet u the brakes will have to be placed unless they have already been replaced....as to the guitar like mine u dont have the fast back like the guys above have, ours have just a straight window an they look like fins coming down the right and left side, which i personally think looks better then the fastback but others will disagree...theres enough space to fit most of the guitar but the neck will def. hang out a bit....good luck
