I just bought my first vette. 69 w/350 and automatic transmission All stock and everything works. I’m looking to make the ignition my first upgrade. Any suggestions.

 

Well, your '69 has a cable drive tach. It can be very limiting to your options list. A Pertronix electronic conversion is easy and reliable. On my '72&73s I went with an after market hei with tach drive. They were less than 100.00 complete and seem to work well.
( My '73s had later hei units without the cable drive, and the '72 was a roller.)
