has anyone here changed there ignition mine has the finger prongs broke off and need to be changed was wondering how hard it is to change[:@]

What are you referring to? Ignition switch? Ignition tumbler?

 

its an 85 and i mean the place on the colum where ya put your key lol sorry im not the mechanical 1 in the family

If I may try to explain, I think he means the two "prongs" which are attached to the ignition switch where one puts the key in the ignition. I can see the anxiety when one turns the key to the "on" position, the key may break inside the switch with the pressure of turning on the ignition. Am I right??????

Well, if you are referring to the 2 wire leads that come off the key reader for the security system, it's not to easy to fish the wires down the coulmn. Now I think you might be referring to the two brass fingers that ride on the steering wheel, those are for the horn.
