Default keeping it original

I have a 1976 corvette that I am trying to keep all original. I am trying to paint the engine back to its original color but can't find what shade of orange it is.

Welcome to CF!
I've always just called it "Chevy Orange". As to what shade, I haven't got a clue. [&o]

Most auto parts stores will have the correct color in stock. Just ask them if you don't see it out on the shelf. Cheers

I discovered that Krylon's Chevy Orange was a little redder than stock. I got Tempo at a auto paint store and it was a perfect match to the original.

Check with Eastwood at www.eastwood.com They have all of the correct paints for resto's. Their part number for Chevy Orange is 10016Z.
