Hi I'm new to this Forum. Hello to all. It pains me to write this, but I owned one of the 116, REALDEAL, 1969 L-88's. (conv. aux hardtop, side exhaust, 4spd) I bought it off the used car lot of a Penna. Chevy dealer I worked for back in 1974. I bought it for $3995.00! Sold it 6 months later for $5,000. I am trying to find the car if it still exists. I have checked Penna. Dept. of motor vehicles for info. but nothing shows up. Is there a registry for these cars somewhere? Is there a way to check the states without paying each one? Thanx for any info.

 

If you have the VIN, you can run a Carfax. That will let you know where it was registered, and if it is still active.

Thanks for your reply.I tried Carfax. It only tracks vehicles with 17 digit VIN numbers. I was hoping someone put together a registry for that car.
