I've noticed that ever since I bought my vette and I drive by other vettes on the road they wave at me....so I wave back. This happens usually with C5s and C6s but I've been waved at by C4s and C3s too. I think it's kinda cool so I always make sure they see me waving at them. Sometimes I wave first. On a few occasions they don't wave back....but that's ok. This sort of thing never happened when I had my BMW. With my corvette I feel like I'm part of a great big family!

Oh, yes, around here it happens all the time. There are a few that don't wave, but that is their problem. I have never had this happen with any other car I have owned and think it is a really cool practice. Lord knows, I do love my vette and have never felt this way with any other car. Yup, Corvettes are very special cars and I guess that means we are all a part of a very special breed.

I seen on the "Comandments" to wave at fellow Vette owners. Just bought mine for my wife in August and low and behold was approached by another Vette on the person was a waving. My wife asked do you know them and I said just, "brother from another mother" and told her about the comandments.

 

It's odd. I've only had mine for a couple of weeks. But I haven't seen a single wave from another Vette. I'v had them sitting right beside me and looking the car up and down. But not even acknowledging I'm in the car.

I've had a couple of nods, and even short conversations going down the road with a few Mustangs, mostly new ones. And there was always a wave from fellow bikers when I had my Ninja.

Maybe it's just this neck of the woods here in S.W.Florida.

Yep we got the wave going here as well. At first I wasn't waving all the time, Mainly because I was caught off guard, but now I'll wave, and if they don't wave back, I don't worry about it.
I've always been a Harley owner so "the wave" has been going on for many years. It's just nice to see that were part of a unique family out there, that has enough consideration for a friendly wave.

Of course. Always. My only problem is often I see a 'vette coming and wave, only to realize I am in the Porsche at the time.

 

Never happens here. I ususally get "the bird"[8D]
