leaves in the side
Hey guys,
I own a 75 and I have that irritating problem with the leaves that have slipped inside the body through the Cowl tray(where the windshield wipers are). I was told that the only way to get those out is to use a close hanger until they are gone, but as I've found out with this car there is NEVER just ONE way to do something. I was wondering if any of you guys have solved this problem before. If it rains real hard it overflows into the floorboards and has ruined my new carpet. Any help would be appreciated.

I had a similar problem with my 70 and I found it could be accesses from the blower motor area. I removed the blower motor and cleaned out all the leaves and increased the air flow by 100%. It can also be reached by removing the passenger dash and the venting behind it. I don't know if that holds true on your vehicle but it did on a 70 with AC.
I would suggest you get an AIM(Assembly Instruction Manual) or a haynes manual to see how all of it comes apart.
