Default need help

i was smellin antifreeze in my car found the pass side floor wet went under hood and on the back firewall i found a box with a small core in it is there suppose to be antifreeze in there theres is is thise the heater core and how can i fix this without changing the core planned on doing lots of work on her this winter cant spend alot of money and cant stop drivin it yetjust to much damn fun( any quick fixes )[sm=badbadbad.gif] YOURE FORUM HAS BEEN ALOTA HELP THANKS

Yup, that's the heater core, and it does have anti-freeze in it. If you must keep drivin' her, you can disconnect the heater hoses and loopone back at the block.
(connect the out to the in) Now you can take your time and get the heater core out for repairs or replacement. Don't take too long though, it's gonna start gettin' cold soon, and you'll want that heater.

Try Bar's stop leak if you want to keep the heater function.

They can be soldered to stop a leak as well. It's really not that hard with a plumbers torch. Good luck with it. Cheers
