Thats funny... I am a retired concert sound engineer. Used to do live foh and monitors for the 2 largest sound companies in the US... Showco and Sound Image in CA. Maybe thats why I'm into Vettes and Harleys... It's all I can still hear!

Did some work with my own band too.

Have had my 68 since new. Looks like yours and have vinyl top also. Can't help with numbers . My question to you is do you have factory air, and if so what are the connections like to compressor. Mine are like clamps in 67 and not the type they show for 68 in all catalogs.
Non-AC Thought about it. Flipped the alternator and was checking, only to find out lines , compressor and all wouldn't work without issues. It can be done, just not by me.

I play for Coco Loco ( Corona Band ) We do stadium shows. Piano, the sound is the midwest sound for the Thunderbirds and Jimmy Vaungh. Corona hires everything out. Played fro James Cotton and Fenton Robinson plus others(studio). As you probably know, been everywhere>

An old trick for starting hipo, hi comp, engines with lots of initial advance is to put a switch on the 12V to the coil. Then you can spin up the engine before you let it fire.

I've heard of this being done. Never tried. Are you a Cards fan? Been meaning to ask. We are up here in Decatur , Illinois. 130 from St. Louis.

Mainly Chiefs and Tigers. Used to like the Royals but since the strike, it's been a disaster.
