could someone tell me where the oil sending unit is located on 68 327? thanks.

 

On a 350 it's at the back of the block, you might look there. PG

 

Copley, on my '69 350 it's located on the top of the block, behind the intake manifold, left of the distributor. It's not a sending unit but a direct pressure gauge. You'll just see a fitting and a tube coming out of it going into the firewall. Be careful how you handle this because if you don't seat the fittings properly you'll have an oil lesk.
