Default RE: Performance Calculator

Maybe I missed it on the website but when they ask for hp, are they looking for gross, net, or rear wheel?

Default RE: Performance Calculator

In my opinion, there are too many variables to consider for calculations like that to be "on." It is fun though to put different numbers in.
From a dead stop, Iget very littletire spin on good pavement due to that converter clutch. I will say that it works well inthe rain.
Thanks for the link.

Yes, optomistic...I put in a '67 Plymouth Satellite convertible that I had awhile back. It had a 383 with a 4 speed and a 4:11 posi rear. I ran alot of 14.20s which was good for that car and the car was in really good shape. It did have street tires on it and I got alot of wheel spin. The calculator gave me a 13.08. Man, I wish.
