What is the best aftermarket intake that will fit under my stock (not L88) big block hood? I have a '71 454 that currently has the stock intake and Q-jet. I know a Torquer II will fit and so will a Wieand X-Cellerator but I think I'd rather have a dual-plane ,unless some one has a good success story about either of these. I once saw a stock hooded '74 with a Performer RPM and a funky drop-base air cleaner,but I'm not sure my hood has as much clearance as a '73-'74 hood.
