small switch was found on right lower side of seat anyone know what iit used for

 

Welcome to the forums. No I have no idea what that switch is. I can guess. You might need to pull the seat and Inspect it. I am guessing you have a late model C-3 with electric seats. Seat electric controls are on the door side (or front) most of the time, You didn't mention what type of switch it is, a flip or position switch. It could be a seat heater, one or two position switch most of the time I installed heating pads in my 77 that uses a three position rocker switch with the kit, off, up is top pad and bottom and down is bottom pad only. all depends on how its wired by you. My guess is seat heater, but I could be wrong.

on a 1982 ,electric power seat drivers side,its a silver push switch on the right lower side between the seat and the console cant see it ,I found it when I remover the seat pan. Ill try and get a photo of it

 

Welcome to the forum. Does it look like a factory switch? One thing I thought of was that it might be some kind of kill switch for the ignition.

 

It seems to be factory installed the wiring is taped lie the rest of the wiring under the seat.I tryed to take a photo but t camera would fit ,I m going to take the seat pan off if I can ever break the toe back nuts seems like the paint is on the threads,

 

I still like my seat heater idea.
