anyone know how to properly set-up rear wheel bearings on a 79 vette?

 

It's spelled out in the Service Manual.

 

Ship them out and let a good shop take responsibility, there tough to work on in your alley garage.

 

When I changed the bearings I just pulled off the trailing arms and brought them to "Corvettes ETC" in Charlotte. If you look at the Corvette Central catalog on page 172 tou'll see that you need about $ 300.00 worth of tools that you may never use again. PG
