Have ny of you tried this product. Was wonderng if its works wellor not Corvette Rear Wheel Spindle Bearing Greaser Tool, 1963-1982

 

Hi 714, I ordered one of the bearing grease tools while I had the whole rear suspension out of my '78 but I never used it, I got impatient waiting for it to arrive, so like I've done before with other tools, I made one. Used the same concept as the plastic job but made mine from steel pipe, worked like a dream. The mail-order tool should work fine but be aware you still have to pull the spindle flange off of the wheel spindles in order to use the grease tool.

 

Thanks for theinfo Buckshot, fortunately for me Ecklers is about an hour south of my place. I have the rear suspension out of my 82 as well,the trailing arms look well and are not in need to be rebuilt but I at least wanted to get tem greased.

 

Be aware that it only lubes the inner bearing. []
