I am having a car inspected, and the owner wants to use this mechanic, who he knows. He is a retired war veteran who has been buying, selling, fixing, and restoring corvettes since his teens. He started the Corvette club in Kansas City and now does repair work on vettes as a hobby.

Does anyone know him, heard of him, spent time with him, etc.

I want to get a feel of reliability and skill. (aside from what was listed already)
