Where is the best place to find a service manual for the 1969 Corvette? My folks have one and I try to help them service it, but the Haynes manual we have is useless. I am looking for a vacuum schematic in particular.

Thanks,
Dave

Welcome to CF, Dave!
Corvette shop manual. Available from www.ecklers.com . They have a manual for your year of Vette. It has the vacuum and other diagrams too.

Thanks!

Seems like there are about 10 to choose from. Which ones are junk and which ones are the best? The more technical the better! [sm=pcwhack.gif]

Find the "1969 Corvette Shop Manual". It's the GM/Chevrolet manual.
Try this number.....
ST 364-69. This may be it.

I am in need of the vacuum and wiring diagrams for a 1974 model year car. Would thesethreebooks be the best source for them? One better that the others?

Arejust the diagramsavailable online (downloadable, pdf, etc.)anywhere?

I have been tasked with getting my father-in-law's car running correctly and between his workand the P.O's the wiringis a mess.

Thanks in advance.

stick to the factory repair manual. this is the same book the chevy dealers used.
i would recommenda factory repair manual, wiring diagram and assembly manual.

Are you referring to the $99/set I linked to or another that I missed?

'These manuals were supplied to the dealer for servicing your Corvette' looks like the factory manual. you could also call them andask they have great customer service.
they are other vendors out there that sell you these manuals direct. do a search you should come up with something. mine where made by FAXON. not to sure on the spelling.
