SPEEDO/TACH NEW OR REBUILT?
I am restoring a 78 Silver Ann and I'm looking to either replace or fix my existing speedo/tach cluster along w/the gauge cluster. I have spent some time looking for a new one but apparently no one makes them any more, is this correct? Does anyone know where I might be able to send mine and have them refaced and rebuilt? What is a good price range to pay for work like that and who can I trust in which to do quality work?

You can occasionally find some new ones on ebay from folks cleaning out their garages and stock rooms. Rebuilt and refaced are just fine, and might just include some tougher gears and moving parts that would make them better than the "new" ones that have been sitting on a shelf for 15+ years. Check the normal places, Ecklers, MidAmerica, Pat's, Corvette America, etc. for rebuild services and parts. I replaced my tach with a "new" one about a year ago... I would have gone with rebuilding, but I found a NOS on Ebay for about $30 and couldn't pass it up.

call this guy , he might be able to help you out. He found one for me on his shelf and it was in perfect condition and works great.
