I have just installed an MSD distributor to my 1974 Corvette that does not have a mechanical tach drive, but I currently have a mechanical tach. Does anyone know if there is anyone out there who makes an electric tach with the same face to match my original mechanical tach as a replacement?

You might check with MSD and see if they have any connections. I also wonder if a '75 tach would work for you.

 

I assume the tach in a 75' was electric? Wondering if the face looks the same??

Corvette went to an electric tach with the advent of the HEI ignition system. I suspect the only difference in the '75 tach face would be the red line.
