This video gives me goosebumps! I drove this road and was totally thrilled by it!

Here's another link with good information.

We can make this happen!

Anybody up for August 2008?

I'd love to run that road. I've heard of it before, from some other members.

Hey Blueshark! How far is Dickson from Deals Gap?

8)

Maybe we should put together a map of the country with our home towns plotted on it and try and find a reasonable meeting/cruising place?

That video looks so good. I've been in that neighborhood so many times. I stayed on 74 thru the NC-TN mountainsand that was a great ride, next time I'll have to try The Tail of the Dragon. Thanks for the heads-up on that road. PG.

One minor prob, it's about a 2500 mile drive to get there. It would take me about2 1/2 days to get there,2 1/2 days to get back. I'd want to stay for 2 or three days, and I only get a weeks vacation. Can'tuse mytime compression factor for the whole trip. "Smokey" doesn't like my method.
I have done 1600 miles in 22 hours, but had to out wit "Smokey" a couple of times.

Remember Einstein said time slows down the faster you go. [sm=jawdrop.gif]
So you just need to go faster.

You are just going to have to slip that Starship into WARP DRIVE! Ask this guy for assistance!

I figured the trip from Reno might be a bit much, that is why I suggested we plot our locations on a map and try to find a mutually convenient place(s) to meet.

Edit - Sorry Bro' ! The transporter's molecular dissimilator was malfunctioning. I've got the right body for yeh now!

Scotty, (Topspeed), is the one that helps out with the "Warp Drive".
He got kidnapped by the dang "Clingons". []We're sending out a shuttle craft to search the planet surface for signs of life. I hope he has hiscommunicater and beacon on. [&o]

I'm about 3 hours west on a slow day. Dickson is right on I 40, (the other "main street" USA), Exit 172, about 30 mileswest of "Music City", Nashville, and about 3 hours east of the home of the "King", Memphis. The "Tail of the Dragon", and all the roads in the Smokeys are a blast to run.

Y'all comeooooon down for some southern hospitality from a damn yankee! LOL!
