Default Tire Decision

Noticed my Vette has a tire cracking, not dry rotted, looks like tread is separating on the edge of the sidewall. Trying to decide if I should buy a used tire (found one), since they are original to the car, and overall are good shape. But I worry the others will start to separate like this one due to age (they are Firestone S/S radials). I guess new tires all around would be smarter, but I wonder about not being original (shows, etc). Originals are out of production. Thoughts, suggestions? I drive it occasionally to work, including on a highway, and don't want a blow out, etc.

Try Ecklers. I know they carry some Firestone tires, if you want to try to stay original.

Check the TIN number on your tires, if they are more then 6 years old it's time for new tires.
