RE: TRU FLEX BUMPERS
That is why I went for the fiberglass rear bumper. The original rear just dissinegrated from the weather and the front is warped and cracked.I did not want to chance that happening again so I got fiberglass. When I am ready to do the front I will do the same.It is personal on what you want and if you plan on bumping things and repairs etc.Have a good one .Talk at ya later

RE: TRU FLEX BUMPERS
I considered it for replacing the front on my '73, but when talking with a tech at one of the Corvette parts houses , he informed me that some trimming would need to be done to get it to fit properly. Decided to put a GM original on. Cost a little more but I know it'll fit.

RE: TRU FLEX BUMPERS
Just got back from vacation and noticed your post. I just had a true flex put on the front of my 73 convert. The car is being repainted and the front end was cracked in half when they took it off. I got the true flex (same price at ecklers or corvette central). Body shop said it took them two hours to fit had to cut it.Make sure you get the retention system they sell bolts and hangers, it looks great and took paint better than the original. Good luck.
