I have a 1978 l82 that I have been working on, I have a 1982 parts car. I want to change my trans to a 700 r4 and have been looking all over for one. can anyone tell me if all I need to do is look in my own driveway under my parts car.

Not sure the C3 ever used the 700R4 tranny.
