Default are you kidding me!?

Just noticed that my 82 CE has a 1/2 to 3/4 inch crackat the right rear of qtr. panel. I'm thinking seam sealer (bonding strip) The other side has what looks to be the start of the same in the same location. What gives! how much of a hassle and cost to repair? Any preventive maintenance solution or will get worse unattended?.

Find a good Corvette body man. If bonding strip is letting go, then it'll need to be fixed. Just fixing the outside is temporary.

So true, Shark, if you don't fix fiberglass, the vibration will make the crack grow and grow. You must fix it even if you have to spend your beer money for the week. LOL
