" the wave"
i do wave most of the time, some times i am wipping thru traffic and the time comes on to quick to wave. But what i dont understand is when a younger vette owner is treated like a cancer at events or shows. so many times i go to shows and about have to grap a menber in the head lock to talk about vettes. they stay in there own group and dont stray. even when i show up in my vette. this happend in my late 20's and still the other nite and i am 40 know! get over it we are all vette lovers age should not matter!!!!
not treat bad, just ignore. maybe they waited to long in life to injoy vettes and are taken back by the younger generation having one, i dont know. i was just lucky and smart to save enough and have good credit to buy one andthought i was a good idea to get one before marriage and kids. but my wife and daughter do love my vette.
if you own a vette your a friend of mine(unless your a ***) i try to talk to all to get info or just hang out. the other nite i ended up talking to a guy with a 34 ford custom hot rod, real sweet . one corvette owner talked to me after i looked over his engine for a while.there was about 20 vette's out there.
I wave like a madman. I love the comraderie this class of car seems to bring with it, and I like to participate as much as possible.
The other day, a dude in what looked to me to be a '67 droptop all of a sudden-like pulled up behind me. We cruised together for about 10 miles, and when he went off on his own way, he was waving to beat the band. It was a great experience for me.
Up here, about 95% of Corvette owners wave. [8D]
