Default 1987 upgrade to C 5 brakes

OK, so someone please help me by making sure I have this right. To upgrade my brakes on a 1987 I must first upgrade to 17 inch wheels. Those wheels can come from any C5 but I will need spacers to make them fit right?

Once I have 17 inch C5 wheels I can install calipers, pads and rotors from the C5 which are 13 inch brakes. This applies to both front and rear axles.

IS THAT ALL CORRECT????

Thank you

Unless you're tracking the car, not sure what the upgrade buys you. And some spacers aren't a good idea due to the added stress put on the studs. Good luck w/ your project.

Well its nice to know that you don't know why i want to do it. Thank you for your input. Now, do you perhaps know if I have the right plan to install the bigger brakes. Thanks for your support.
