As I was getting read to leave the gas station I went to start the car it fired for a second and then died. After that it just turns over and will not fire at all. I tested the spark plugs and they do have spark it also will not fire on starter fluid.

Welcome to the forum. I question that you have spark when under compression if it won't fire using starter fluid (ether).
