First post here. I am looking for tires for my 94. I currently have 255/45/17 fronts and 285/40/17 rears. I am having a hard time finding a matching set of 4 other than Continental Extreme contacts. Nothing wrong with those tires, just like options. One web sight listed alternative sizes of 275/40/17 and 315/35/17. The alternate sizes are .3 inch shorter with the front .8 inch wider and the rear 1.4 inches wider. I am not concerned about the height difference as speedometer should be minimal. My concern is width. Has anyone tried these sizes? Any information would be appreciated.
