A buddy of mine told me he was real sure I had 17x11 already on my car,at tire shop they measured with a gauge outside rim edge to egde it measure 10. Does that mean I have 9.5's

Leading to my question.
What does the outside rim edge to edge measure on the 17x11????

I'm wanting 11's so I can go with 315's... Any help appreciated.. I thought the 17x11 had deep dish by lug nut holes mines not deep...

Done me a little forensic science!!! After someone telling me about the size written on the inside of the wheel I decided to try and figure out how to check it without pulling every wheel. My buddy was wrong I have 9.5 but one has a different offset than the other three.

I took paper cut to spoke sizeand put inside wheel and rub it hard and it tranfered the writing without removine wheels. 17x9.5j written on the also f.r. made in usa so I am thinkng factory reproductions??? Heres my results... Dad always said work smarter not harder..
