Hi gang, I recently bought a 85 Vette with th infamous 4+3 transmission combo. , it has the "I'll shift into overdrive when I'm good and ready" trouble. I've by passed the ECM and have it working direct from the relay and it was a big improvement but still not perfect . So I decided to clean the valve body and solonoid. Somehow I dropped a check ball and didn't see where it came from and can't find a diagram of it anywhere. I have the one with the spring installed but the second one is a mystery, I can't see where it would have set on the valve body. Does somebody have a diagram or pic to help explain where the hell the check ball is supose to go .
