Hi I'm new to this forum. I just purchased an 85 corvette with the tpi motor as a project. I have been shopping around online for an aftermarket exhaust system. Most of the systems that I have found specify that they are for the 86-90 corvette. Does my y pipe and muffler setup differ from 86 and up?

 

84-85 c4 have only 1 catalytic converterafter the front y pipe. 86 and up c4 have 3 cats. 1 on each cylinder bank and 1 after the y pipe before the split to the mufflers. Try Corvettesouth for aftermarket c4 exhausts.
