I have a service engine question. I have a 34 code falt . This is a MAF problem (acording to Manual) I have replaced the sensor, and checked the wiring for a short ,but I still have the falt. Any ideas ???

 

I had a Code 36 on my 87 Vette, replaced the twin MAF relays(power and burn-off) and that solved the problem. I see in the manual that a Code 34 could also be caused by these MAF sensors. I'm told it's best to change both of them at the same time. They're both the same part number, GM part #14089936. I think I paid about $14 apiece for them at the local Chevy dealer. They were together on the driver's side of the firewall, just above the battery. Good luck!
