My 95 LT 1 6speed just developed a stumble at 2500 to 3000 after I changed the plugs. On the way to Advance the check engine light came on. At the parts store we put a scan tool on it and got code P1115 ECT intermittant? Any ideas, where do I look. Could I have knocked something off? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

ECT is your Engine Coolant Temp sensor. Probably needs to be replaced. Be sure and use GM one or an A/C Delco. That sensor tells your computer what engine temp is and if shows to hot or to cold will cause stumble. [8D]

It will be in a water jacket at the front of the intake manifold probably by the thermostat housing.

 

Thanks again Mech, Problem solved for now new Ac Delco part on it's way, The sensor was actually found in the engine block below the water pump, Thanks again!
