I just bought my 88 a short time ago. The guy i got it from was telling me about how the tranny was rebuilt using a stonger "steel" shaft because the original ones were not as strong. Any truth to the rumor? The car is great,I was just curious. I also have a line on red carpet for my car, but it's out of a '93. will it work ? OH BY THE WAY, HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND !!

Dude, the guy I got my car from said something similar to me, too! Like you, I don't know for sure, but this 700R4 shifts better than any other one I've ever had in any of my Camaro's..... so I believe it's totally possible.
As for the carpet, that one I don't know, bro... sorry, dude, I suspect it might, but I really don't know....
