I have a 1992 corvette LT1 eng P. I am doing AC trouble shooting and I have no AC signal to the AC cut out switch. The AC controler checks out ok. Does anybody know ware the AC programer is located and what it looks like. This is my next step and I cant find it. The service manual doesnt go into much detail on this part.

 

On my 90 it is in back of the controls, You can do a self check on it to see if it is working right. I followed all the directions and the last thing it said to do was disconnect the battery. I was getting no signal with a 90 code, the battery trick did it. I spent 8 hours on other things, trying to fix it.

 

Thanks mayer.... I did find it. It was a black box about 6*5*2 above the gas pedal with vacuumlines and a wire loom going to it.Ihave tried to reset it a few times and no go. also no coeds and no coeds in the control head. I did follow the trouble shooting guide lines but at the programmer it called for a tech 1 which I don't have.[:@]
I took a guess and replaced the programmer and now I have the signal. Know I can start on the leaks in the AC.
Win you said you had 8 hours checking out your wiring. I would say you are much faster then me.
