Default Aftermarket wheels for '85

Hi, does anyone know where I can get some aftermarket wheels for my '85 vette? The stock ones are 16x9.5. Can some one tell me if the pattern is 4.75 or 120.65mm? I heard both. I'm looking to plus size as much as 3 or 4 inches. Thanks

You put 3 or 4 inches of increased diameter on an early Corvette and you are just SCREAMING for one of the worst handling cars you have ever driven!!

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME MAKE MY CAR THE WORST HANDLING CAR I'VE EVER DRIVEN? would be more like it. I've found out that there are wheel adapters to give the 84-87 vetts the ability to use wheel that fit on 88-96 vettes. Does anyone know where I can get these at an afordable price? thanks

Ecklers.com or Madvet.com both carry the adapters (kind of expensive for what they are). If you know someone with a machine shop they'd be rather easy to make up. But, I'd have to agree with the poster above. Rough ride and increased wear on steering components.

me personally would not trust the adapters. [sm=headbang.gif] they can lead to head-achs later on, if its replacemet wheels i find the tirerack has a good selection and fairly priced.

Default wheels

I'm looking for some chrome wheels. I like the 5 point star- 10 spoke type, something a little flashy but not too much, but still sporty looking. I was thinking 18,19+ Z06 wheels but every single newer camaro/firebird/corvette has them.

Yo Skyler,
I saw some 27" wheels today. They would look great on your racing car and would be extremely easy to put on!!
