I am a big believer in K & N filters one of the sponsors of this site and I'm sure most already know the benefits BUT .
The question isdoes the cone filter mount in theholethe stock filter comes from ?
If not it should not get directed flow in engine bay.
These cars are so low not much air enters from underneath I'm guessing.

I've got a 95 w/LT 4 383 that needs air and I'mgoing to put a supercharger on it next winter.
K & N is out of stock right now on the stock replacement filter.

 

Here's one that gets good ink ! Still don't know that air flow would be any better since it would be located in the dead zone in the engine bay.
