I totally agree with the other posters here, bro. Either leave it, or replace it with somethin' better. Are you noticing anything with the way the car runs? Notice any wierd odors? I have seen cats that when they "go bad", they kinda sometimes have a "stink" to the exhaust...

This was years ago, a guy asked me to take a look at his car. It would barely run. I checked it out and every thing seemed fine, just wouldn't run right. I told him to take it to a shop (I really didn't want to mess with it) He said if I could drive it away, I could have it. I went home, got a hack saw and cut the exhaust pipe just in front of the cat. Swung the pipe out of the way, fired it up and drove off. It was a '74 Duster. I sold it 2 mo. later for $600. The interior and paint were shot, but it ran great. Ya, Bad Kitty!!!
