I have learned the good, the bad, and the ugly so far with this car, I guess that is why I love it so much. One great thing about the C4 though, it is pretty easy to fix and there are great forums to find info out anytime you need it. Hopefully I can get it fixed pretty soon, fall time here is the best time of the year to enjoy it.

 

CanI pull the exterior panel off to re-glue it?

My box is black, and it probably has baked/hardened the adhesive a little hotter than other colors...

 

I don't know how hard it would be to remove the panel, may even damage it trying to get it off. Like red said, it was a "bizarre" incident that it fell off. Mine is black too, hope it doesn't fall off.

 

Yeah, I guess yours has a year or two more gettin' baked.

I'd still rather see if I can pull it, or get a spatula under it, and re-glue it in. Ya' lose it on the road, and it's toast[:@]

 

Well go ahead and tryto get yours off first, and if you crack or break it, I won't even tryto remove mine.

 

I tested the other door on mine and it seems to be on there pretty good. That being said with my current luck it might become a NASA project the next time I go down the road at 85mph. I am trying to contact one of my friend who does excellent body work on the side and see if he will fix it for me. I will have him look at the other one, I will keep you posted.
