Brake Dragging

Brake Dragging
I have an 88 Vette and the right front brake is dragging, left front is fine. I have replaced the caliper and hose. I also traced the line back to the ABS controller and made sure it was clear Anti lock warning is not on. I have no idea of what to do next. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

RE: Brake Dragging
Dragging? As in the car not wanting to move forward? Are the bolts and pins that hold the caliper on tightly and not broken? Im interested in what the soloution to this is...Might come in useful...Hope someone chimes in soon with the asnwer. Goodluck

RE: Brake Dragging
You say dragging. Is it pulling to the right when stopping? If so, your left front may not be working properly as in a restriction in brake line or the caliper may be partially stuck. You might have changed the wrong side. Good Luck. [8D]

RE: Brake Dragging
I had the same problem on my 86 Vette. Replace the MASTERCYLINDER. [X(]My Fronts locked up and i did everything from bleeding them to reworking them. The problem was the master cylinder. Its an easy replacement. Make sure that you bench bleed the new one before you put it on then bleed your brakes in a "Z" pattern. From the right-rear to the left-front.[8D]

Is the caliper free to move inward and outward on its mount?
Do this:
Can you slide a piece of paper between the outer pad and the rotor, to check for space?, And likewise, the rotor and the inner pad?
If space on innerAND outer, you probably have a wheel bearing problem.
If space on one, you have a stickin' caliper.
If space on neither, you have fluid movement problem (master cyl., bound/kinked line, other).
ABS system makes brakes let go. ABSnever makes brakesgrab.
