Ok, I cannot afford a 1500 dollar system, but with less expensive in mind, I need to replace mine from the cat back. so I need the Y-pipe and mufflers only. Looking at mufflers in Ecklers and Corvette America, what after market sounds good to you? right now my 86 is practically silent. Way too quiet. I've has 2 vettes before with side pipes but I don't want that noise anymore, but I do want a nice sound.

 

I'm still running stock on my vette so I don't have great personal experience, however, I put Magnaflows on my '98 camaro and they sounded good.
