Hello all !,.........i purchased a 1996 LT1 c4 last month,..........i drive it once a week to keep the miles down,.........however,....i noticed that every week i go to start it up,.......the battery is dead and i need to start it with a jumper box,.........i thought it was a bad battery -( which by the way looked practically brand new !),.I replaced it with a red top OPTIMA gel battery,.thinking that was my problem..........It is still doing the same thing !!!!!.even with the new battery!.....i still have to jump it off and reset all the radio features.............does anyone know what the problem could possibly be?........other than that,.........this car is absolutely cherry!...........PLEASE HELP!..........It is frustrating and embarrasing to be out there jumping my baby off everytime i want to drive it...............Thank you in advance,.............michael

 

The only things I can think of is the alternator is shot, bad battery cables, OR theres a short somewhere. hmm.
