Default c4 to c5 Body Kit

I have a question;
I've bee wondering if I should convert my body to a c5. But I've talked it over with some friends and they say it is better not to...
What do you guys think ?
I know "corvette king" did it to his c4 and it looks really really nice ; but in the long run can this decrease the value of the car ?
I mean people who would want to buy a c5 dont want a c4 conversion, and people who want a c4 want a C4.... Right ?

I agree with your last sentence. Of course, if it's your car and it's what you want to do, than by all means have at it!

I like the kits, i think they look good. I think the value of the car will also depend on the quality of the work. I agree with repo dudes comment on did you buy to drive or sell. If you bought it to drive then by all means have at it, but if you bought to sell then definately put some thought into it. I had a similar argument with my father the other day. I want an aggresive sounding exhaust on my car, he thinks it would kill the resale value since the car is pretty much all stock. I'm more worried about the pleasure my car brings me now, not the money it brings me later!
