Looking to buy a Buick Roadmaster with a factory installed LT1 and I keep hearing that the Optispark distributor can be an issue.
I presently own a C5 and the LS1 engines and pretty much bullet proof and I really don't want to buy a can of worms.
Can someone educate me regarding LT1 issues before I pull the trigger?

Also, a company by the name of Delteq sells an aftermarket ignition system for the LT1 completely elliminating the optispark.
Has anyone heard of this?
Pros/Cons?
