C4 with rebuilt engine worth?
Looking for advice from the community.
There is a 1990 Corvette Convertible for sale in my area. the car has 102,000 miles on the body. at 90,000 was rebuilt in 2004. has been garage kept since2014, not driven. was cleaned up today and driven for about 10 miles. the car has a 383 stroker, original block bored and clearance. Dart pro one aluminum heads with aluminum roller rockers, super ram intake with matched Lingenfelter 218 cam, Scat crank, forged rods and pistons, clevite bearings, double roller timing chain, smog delete, tpis long tube headers, true duel exaust with hooker high flow mufflers, PCMforless mail order tune. c5 brake kit. Transmission rebuilt at same time engine was. haven't had a chance to look at car, pictures look good. all engine upgrades are just here say. just wondering, if car is as advertised. asking price is 4,995.00. what are anyones thoughts on this car, the C4 is gaining value. 383 stroker not found often. In advance, Thanks for any information.

Welcome to the forum. If the engine is actually as you state, then it is probably worth most of the asking price.
I would definitely ask for all receipts on the engine rebuild.

Since you mentioned value of the C4s, I will say this: regardless of the cost of the investment, unmolested original cars (or at least ones that have been kept OE as opposed to modified) are the ones that appreciate best. Mods always, IME, complicate value. But if you want a driver and not an investment, what has been done to that engine will make it a lot more enjoyable.
