C5 brakes for a C4

RE: C5 brakes for a C4
You can buy the C4 to C5 conversions kits lots of places. Most of the suppliers sell the kits. You can buy the parts as kits or in pieces on Ebay also.
Also, they won't fit under stocksawblades. You will have to get some A-Molds that came on the ZR1's or simmilar sized wheels.

Hi Grouch...I know this is not the question but the 92 corvette has great brakes standard. If you have a soft pedal look for air or master cylinder. If the brakes are hard look toward a bad brake booster. If the car is nose diving look to the rear padsand the parking brake adjustment. The parking brake adjustment is key for this brake system. Your corvette should stop very quick and suck itself down to the road and not drop the front end down. It sounds to me you might just have a brake problem and spending money on a c-5 upgrade might not solve anything. Just my thoughts Grouch
Good Luck with the brakes

RE: C5 brakes for a C4
I just bought a 95 that the fellow I bought it from converted it to C 5 brakes and he told me he bought the changeover calaper bracket and then bought the C 5 parts off the shelf.
He did put on 17 in.American Torque Thrust Mags which do barely clear the calapers with new pads w/o spacers.
