Does anyone know if a 20 year old car has to comply with emisions in Cali? I was there last with my Porsche but it wasnt 20 years old yet, but now Im going back with my vette and it is 20 years old now. In order to get a DOD decal to go on Miltary bases in Cali you have to do the smog test.[8D]

 

I just had my 87 smogged. In California the car has to be 1975 or older to not need smog.

well this is bad news but hey, how much would headers effect the smog?

They will do a visual inspection. All smog parts will be checked including A.I.R, Catylic converter, Fuel cansiter pressure check (PCV). You will need these parts installed, before it will pass.
