hi all im new to the vette world but not new to the car world but my ? isi have an 87 vert that i recently bought and i am wanting to change the cam in it and i was looking at the comp ex264hr

this is the cam that comp said to use and was woundering if any of you guys have used this can and about how much it would help and how it would sound.
last ? i put some flowmasters on the car and it didnt sound any diff from the factory muffs and someone said to gutt the resanators and the cat and it would sound right i have 3 sets of muffs for the car a new set of repops a set of 50 series vette muffs and i set of deltaflow 40 series the repops were on the car when i bought it and only have 500 miles on them and i bought both sets of flows new at the same time because i wasnt sure which set i would like any and all help would be great thanks and sorry for the long post

 

i cant belive that none of you vette guys now much about cam swaps in these cars come on guys someone knows
